For my final project I decided to create a video that focused on animals. It was fun because it was unpredictable, because you never know what they're going to do. I got some interesting shots and at first I wasn't sure what to do with them. Originally I was just going to make a video just showing a typical day on this farm, but it didn't have any real focus. I didn't have much in terms of sound quality either, since the wind really muffled up the sound, so I thought of just doing away with the sound and just making a silent film. Instead of making the camera a character the animals were the characters. A link to the video can be found here:

The original storyboard is above as well, although it was greatly modified to reflect the new footage I obtained.

For my midterm I decide to make a series of logos for made up companies. The logos at the top of each image are the finalized logos. The backgrounds are not necessarily part of the logo, but just an example of how they can be used against certain patterns and textures. The logos are:

Realm: a manufacturer of high end watches and clocks

The Prestige: a high luxury resort and casino located in Las Vegas

Paradise Peaks: a small sized amusement park located along the shore line of Florida

Ben's Coffee Shop: a quaint looking privately owned coffee shop

This is a composition I made combining two different images. I used a layer mask to bring the bottom layer through. I used an exaggerated drop shadow from the layer styles, along with many different filters.

This is the image for my collage project. All the pictures were taken by me, all from my trip to Disney. The Dinosaur skeleton took a really long time to trim out. Everything else was fairly easier. The water he's shooting is from a picture of a geyser. I changed the blend mode to "lighten" to bring the background through.

Just got done with the three images. The 15 minute one is inspired by the impressionist style. Varying sizes of the brush tool were used. The 30 minute one was just an experiment with textures. I had an underlying layer that was illustrated using different types of brushes, followed by numerous filters and then more brush work on top of that. The final one is a sketch done with a pen tablet along with the use of some filters.
